Fiduciary Trust International has appointed Alice Pearl as trust counsel, based in its Los Angeles office.

Pearl (pictured below) will focus on trust and estate administration, transactional estate planning, and advanced tax and gift strategies.

Alice Pearl

Pearl has joined from Kopple, Klinger & Elbaz in Los Angeles, where she was a senior associate attorney working with ultra-high net worth and HNW clients on trust administration, probate, transactional estate planning, and advanced tax and gift planning matters. Earlier in her career, she was an associate attorney in the law offices of Michael K Lanning, APLC and Weinstock Manion in Los Angeles.

“Alice has more than a decade of experience helping affluent individuals and families put together effective, detailed trust and estate plans – enabling them to fully understand the implications, and necessity, of all the clauses within those plans,” Stephen J Dutka, Fiduciary Trust International’s regional managing director for California, said.

Pearl earned her Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law. She also graduated with high honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts in psychology, and a minor in anthropology. Pearl is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the California State Bar’s Trust and Estates Section.
