Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Fiduciary Trust International, Baird, Raymond James

The latest senior moves and appointments in the North American wealth management industry.

Fiduciary Trust International
Fiduciary Trust International, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, has appointed Maris A Ogg and Jeffrey M Bagley as managing director and senior portfolio manager, respectively, based in its Radnor, Pennsylvania office.

Ogg has more than 35 years of experience in the wealth and investment management industry. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust International, she served as founding principal and director of Tower Bridge Advisors, where she oversaw the daily activities of the firm and was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Tower Bridge, Ogg was a founder, president, and chief investment officer of Radnor Capital Management.

Earlier in her career, Ogg served as director of research at both Boenning & Scattergood and W H Newbolds. Ogg is also a former president of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia and served as the eastern region representative for The CFA Society. 

Bagley brings over three decades of experience in the wealth and investment management industry. He is joining from The Haverford Trust Company, where he managed relationships with more than 100 clients. Earlier in his career, Bagley was an analyst at Schroder & Co and NatWest Markets, as well as a senior industry analyst and editor at The Value Line Investment Survey.

Bagley, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations, and graduated from The State University of New York at Oneonta with a bachelor of science degree in business economics. He also holds a master of business administration in finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli Graduate School of Business.

Fiduciary Trust International has more than $97 billion in assets under management and administration as of December 31, 2023. 

Baird 
The private wealth management arm of Baird has added The Palm Financial Group to its Madison West office in Wisconsin. Palm was previously with UBS, and managed $680 million of assets.

Team members at Palm include Michael Palm, Matthew Palm and Nicholas Palm, who will join as financial advisors.  They will be supported by Kirk Hager, accredited financial analyst, client specialist Courtney Justmann and client assistant Michele Dahlk. 

Baird’s Private Wealth Management business has more than 1,300 financial advisors, serving clients across the US with more than $275 billion in client assets.

Raymond James 
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Laura Blanton to its employee advisor channel in Greenville, South Carolina, led by complex manager Brian Flemmer..

Blanton leads Blanton Wealth Management of Raymond James and, alongside client service associate Bethany Hermelin, provides personalized wealth management services for clients including corporate executives, families and individuals living in or planning for retirement. Blanton was previously at Wells Fargo, where she managed about $252 million in client assets. 

Starting her career in 2002, Blanton initially worked at AG Edwards, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. She became a financial advisor with the company in 2014. Blanton is a graduate of North Greenville University, where she earned a bachelor of arts in English.
