Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Envestnet, LPL Financial, Raymond James

The latest senior wealth management sector moves in North America.

Envestnet
Envestnet has appointed Jane Graham in the newly-created role of senior vice president, client experience, bringing the wealthtech firm’s client-facing teams under a single leader as it integrates its acquisition of Vestmark.

Graham will oversee client success and retention, service delivery, enablement, support operations and renewals, and will join the executive committee. Her remit includes implementation and onboarding for Tamarac and UMP, support and service across Tamarac, MoneyGuide and UMP, and midmarket and small business contract renewals across platforms.

She is joining from UKG, the workforce management software company, where she spent nine years, most recently as group vice president of specialty sales. Earlier, as group vice president of relationship management, she led a global team of more than 500 staff covering renewals, customer success and customer learning. That team supported more than 20,000 customers and over $4 billion in recurring revenue.

LPL Financial
Joe Borgese, a financial advisor with Contour Wealth Management, has moved to LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and RIA platforms from Cetera. Borgese reported serving about $390 million in client assets.

Contour is based in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, outside Philadelphia. It works with educators, medical professionals, business owners and multigenerational families, in some cases advising three generations of the same family on matters from retirement planning to college savings.

Using both of LPL’s platforms lets Borgese offer commission-based brokerage and fee-based advisory services under one affiliation, a structure that is increasingly common among independent practices.

The move adds to LPL’s recruiting from rival independent broker-dealers, including Cetera. LPL Financial reported $24 billion in recruited assets in the third quarter of 2026, down 26 per cent from a year earlier, and $81 billion over the trailing 12 months. Total client assets rose 11 per cent year-on-year to $2.6 trillion, with advisory assets accounting for 60.9 per cent of the total.

The slowdown in recruited assets follows an unusually strong period for LPL. The firm took on Commonwealth Financial Network’s advisors and the wealth business of First Horizon Bank in 2025, which inflated previous-year comparisons. Competition for advisors in the $250 million to $500 million range remains intense among independent broker-dealers, RIA aggregators and regional firms.

Raymond James
Raymond James has hired four financial advisors from UBS Financial Services who managed more than $700 million in client assets. They have joined Raymond James & Associates, the firm’s employee advisor channel, and operate as 42° North Advisors of Raymond James in Beachwood, Ohio.

The team comprises Thomas Massey and Joseph Licate, both senior vice presidents of wealth management; Michelle Herman, first vice president of wealth management; and John Egan, vice president of wealth management. Senior registered client service associate Lyndsey Fern has joined the team, which advises families, business owners, corporate executives, family offices and retirees on financial planning and investment management.

Massey and Licate each spent 18 years at UBS. Massey began his career in 1987 and holds the Certified Portfolio Manager designation from Columbia University, where he was a guest lecturer for more than five years. Herman was at UBS for four years and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations.
