The latest moves and appointments in the North American wealth management sector.
Dynasty Financial Partners
Dynasty
Financial Partners has appointed Sean Lindenbaum as director
of network development, for the Southeast division of the US.
Lindenbaum will be based on Florida’s east coast and report to
John Sullivan, head of network development.
Lindenbaum was previously managing director of sales at TD Ameritrade Institutional from 2005 to 2021, where he was responsible for leading the Southeast and MidAtlantic sales team and has more than 20 years of experience in delivering business solutions designed to increase revenue and sales growth. Prior to that, he was vice president of strategic sales planning based in New Jersey with TD Ameritrade Institutional.
Thus far in 2022, Dynasty has hired nine people in St Petersburg.

Investment Management has made a number of promotions and
changes to its fixed-income investment teams.
“We’re excited to make these announcements to the global fixed-income franchise, a more than 150-person-deep bench of talented investment professionals who practice a team-based approach to portfolio management,” Christopher P Conkey, CFA, head of public markets, Manulife Investment Management, said.
Global multi-sector team:
Daniel S Janis III, head of global multi-sector fixed income, has
announced his plan to retire on March 15, 2023; Christopher
M Chapman, portfolio manager, has been promoted and named co-head
of the team, effective immediately, to help ensure a smooth
transition for clients over the next 13 months. He will report to
John F Addeo, CIO of global fixed income, Manulife Investment
Management. Chapman will become the head of the team
when Janis retires.
Bradley L Lutz, portfolio manager, preferred income, will join the team as a portfolio manager, effective 31 March, and report to Chapman.
Sherri Tilley has joined Manulife Investment Management as a client portfolio manager, effective yesterday.
Core and core-plus fixed-income team
promotion
Connor Minnaar, securitized analyst on the securitized assets
research team, has been promoted to portfolio manager on the core
and core-plus fixed-income team, effective 31 March. Connor will
focus on the government income and money market strategies and
report to Howard C Greene, CFA, and Jeffrey N Given.
Newly-formed global credit team
The US high-yield and preferred income teams have been combined
to form the global credit team.
Caryn E Rothman is being promoted to senior portfolio manager and head of the global credit team. Rothman will be listed as a portfolio manager across all of the team’s funds effective 31 March. Both Joseph H Bozoyan, portfolio manager, preferred income, and Dennis F McCafferty, portfolio manager, will now report to Rothman, who will continue to report to John Addeo.
Addeo will no longer be a listed portfolio manager on the global credit team’s strategies except for the global multi-asset diversified income and the multi-asset high income strategies.
