Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Deutsche Bank, Fiera Capital

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American wealth management industry.

Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank has appointed Nicola Baker as managing director. 

Baker, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, spent the last 13 years in Citi Private Bank. Based in San Francisco, Baker will report to Elom Kpordze, who is the head of the private bank’s west coast north region.

The Frankfurt-headquartered lender said Nicolas Schlosser has joined as a senior relationship manager, based in Los Angeles. Schlosser will report to Thomas Klemm, the private bamk head for the west coast south region, it said in a statement late last week.

Fiera Capital
Toronto-listed Fiera Capital, an asset manager, has hired Maxime Ménard as global president and CEO, effective July 1.

Jean-Guy Desjardins, Fiera’s founder, will continue to provide strategic oversight, shaping the firm’s investment philosophy and steering global asset allocation across public markets and multi-asset solutions.

Gabriel Castiglio, executive director, global chief legal officer and corporate secretary, has been appointed executive director and global chief operating officer.

Lucas Pontillo, executive director and global chief financial officer, will also lead corporate strategy, expanding his mandate. 

These changes are effective July 1, 2025; Castiglio and Pontillo will report to Ménard, who joined Fiera Capital in January.
