Cresset

Cresset has appointed a new executive managing director and general counsel, Lucas Huizar, who is takes up the post formerly held by Bill Rudnick, it announced yesterday. 

Huizar is a senior legal executive with more than 20 years of experience advising boards and executive teams at high-growth fintech and technology companies. Based in Cresset’s San Francisco office, he will join the firm’s management committee. Huizar was most recently head of retirement, legal for Gusto, Inc, where he led legal strategy, counsel, and compliance oversight for Gusto’s retirement business. 

Raymond James

Raymond James has welcomed financial advisors C Drew Arney and Grant Watson III, to its employee advisor channel. The advisors, from Truist Investment Services where they managed over $200 million in client assets, operate as The Arney Group of Raymond James in Roanoke, Virginia.
