The latest moves and appointments in the North America wealth management sector.

Cresset
Partners has appointed Kevin O’Donnell as executive managing
director of its private funds group, encompassing private equity,
private credit, and venture capital.
O’Donnell will lead Cresset’s platform for global private investing in external funds, co-investments and related opportunities, in partnership with leading third-party private asset managers, Cresset said in a statement this week.
O’Donnell brings more than 20 years of experience launching and scaling private market investment portfolios for large institutional investors and leading teams. O’Donnell most recently served as head of private equity with the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to that he was the head of private and opportunistic investments for Kaiser Permanente, where he created and implemented a $20 billion private market program.
Cresset Partners was founded in 2018 and has more than $2.4 billion in commitments across real estate, private equity, private credit, and venture capital.

Raymond James
has welcomed Tim Woods, Blake Brignac, and Mitchell Woods to the
firm’s employee advisor channel in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The advisor team – now known as Woods Brignac Wealth Management of Raymond James – is joined by client service associates Debbie Ardoin and Mackenzie Wright. Prior to Raymond James, the team managed approximately $453 million in client assets at Merrill Lynch.
A native of Lake Charles, Woods is a 23-year veteran of the financial services industry. Before launching his wealth management career at Merrill Lynch in 1998, Tim spent nearly two decades as a certified public accountant. He is a graduate of McNeese State University.
Brignac brings nearly a decade of advisory experience to Raymond James, following his tenure at Merrill Lynch. Mitchell offers more than five years of experience advising clients on their financial goals. He began his career in financial services with Merrill Lynch in 2016.
