Capital, a major specialist firm in private market secondary
investments, has appointed a former professional hockey player –
Sean Pronger – as a director at its private wealth team.
Pronger, who is based in Southern California, is responsible for private wealth distribution across wirehouses and broker dealers in Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona.
Prior to this, Pronger was at Starwood Capital, leading its fundraising efforts for the private wealth area. Prior to Starwood, Pronger spent over a decade in senior roles with investment managers, including seven years as a senior vice president at Delaware Investments (now Macquarie) and five years as a regional vice president at ING Funds (now Voya).
Before launching his career in financial services, Pronger played professional hockey for 11 years, including nine seasons in the NHL.
Coller Capital launched its global PWSS business in 2023. It has raised more than $4 billion in private wealth assets globally since inception. In total, it manages $40 billion in secondaries across private equity, private credit, and other private market vehicles.
