The latest moves, appointments, personnel changes and other adjustments in North American wealth management.

Financial advisor George Elkin has joined Cetera Advisor
Networks, part of Cetera
Financial Group, via North Ridge Wealth Planning with his
nephew, Josh Elkin.
The duo oversee $269 million in assets under administration, as of June 20, 2024. They joined Cetera from American Portfolios, an Osaic company.
"Changes at our prior firm prompted us to re-evaluate our values and where those values may best fit within the industry," George Elkin said. "As soon as I came across North Ridge and Cetera, I knew I'd found a perfect fit.β
The affiliation of these advisors is the latest recruitment for North Ridge Wealth Planning, following Michael Volini's affiliation with the firm in the summer.
Home to approximately 12,000 financial professionals and their teams, Cetera oversees more than $521 billion in assets under administration and $224 billion in assets under management, as of June 30, 2024.
Earlier in September, a seven-person team, Innovative Premier Financial Services, joined Cetera Wealth Partners. In early August, Cetera said that California Coast Credit Union was partnering with Cetera Financial Institutions. In late July, Mike McCormick, doing business as Southshore Wealth Management, joined Cetera Advisor Networks via Summit Financial Networks.
In September, Cetera Financial Group brought in a former UBS figure to its Wilde Wealth Management Group, to head its newly-created W Family Office Division. Drew Kliber, who has managed more than $400 million, leads the organization.

Medley arrives from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed about $112 million in client assets; he is joined by financial advisor trainee Dan Medley. As Medley Wealth Management of Raymond James they serve business owners, corporate executives, families and retirees as a part of RJAβs Silicon Valley branch, led by branch manager Chris Weng.
