Investment Counsel, an RIA with $7 billion in assets under
management, has promoted Ben Connard to chief investment officer.
Connard, who joined the firm in connection with its expansion into Stamford, Connecticut, in February 2025, has been a member of CIC’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Carnegie, Connard spent nine years as a partner and portfolio manager at Eagle Ridge Investment Management and 11 years as an analyst at Laidlaw Group.

Brady, a US law firm, said Jennifer Nackley, a trust and
estate attorney, has rejoined the firm’s Naples, Florida office
as a partner. Nackley, who has more than three decades’ private
practice experience, previously practiced at a Florida estate
planning/administration boutique firm.
“I spent a significant amount of my career here at Quarles and I know that my clients will benefit from the firm’s collaborative approach,” Nackley, said. “In rejoining Quarles, my goal is to return to a platform that can handle the complexity of my client base."
Nackley earned her BA from St John Fisher University and her JD from Syracuse University College of Law.
