Argent Financial Group has appointed Janelle Palfreyman as vice president and trust officer. 

Palfreyman, who will be based in Austin, Texas, will focus on developing and administering strategies for personal trust accounts. She will report directly to David Redding, market president for Austin, Argent said in a statement yesterday.

With more than 23 years’ sector experience, Palfreyman served as vice president and senior fiduciary administrator for Wells Fargo Bank in Austin, where she administered relationships and led a team of four fiduciary administrators. Palfreyman received her bachelor of science in business with an emphasis in leadership and management from Capella University. She also earned her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor certification from American Bankers Association.
