The latest moves and appointments in North America's wealth management industry.

Allspring Global Investments, overseeing $575 billion in assets under management, has formed a “chief diversity office” to promote greater diversity, equity and inclusion across the business and the wider industry. 

Ann Miletti will serve as chief diversity officer while continuing as Allspring’s head of active equity. She will report directly to Joe Sullivan, Allspring’s chair and chief executive officer. Additionally, Sonya Rorie has been named deputy chief diversity officer, a full-time role, reporting to Miletti. 

With more than 30 years of asset management industry experience, Miletti has worked as an investment leader, portfolio manager, and analyst.

Sonya Rorie, CFA has more than 25 years of industry experience and joins the chief diversity office from Allspring’s institutional client group where she was a client relations director managing key corporate endowment and foundation client accounts.
