What’s New In Investments, Funds? – Natixis IM

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.

Natixis Investment Managers
Paris and Boston-headquartered Natixis Investment Managers, which has more than $1.5 trillion assets under management, has created a Global Client Development division, bringing together all the teams involved in serving clients across the value chain.

It will include three new functions: Client Markets, organized across six geographical regions; Partnerships; and Product Range & Solutions, the firm said in a statement. Fabrice Chemouny, currently head of International Distribution, will lead the division as chief client officer. He will take on his new role on 1 January 2027, reporting to Philippe Setbon, chief executive officer of Natixis IM. The new organization will be implemented once the information and consultation process with the relevant employee representative bodies has been completed.

The new organization is part of the BPCE Group’s VISION 2030 strategic plan. Built on Natixis IM’s organic growth ambition, in particular, this change is intended to adapt the firm’s distribution model in order to accelerate Natixis IM’s global growth and meet its clients’ needs more effectively.

Creating the single global platform bringing together the US and the rest of the world will foster synergies between regions, give clients easier access to the range of expertise offered by Natixis IM and its affiliated asset management firms, and enhance operational agility, the firm said.

The new department will be organized around three main pillars.

1. Client Markets
Is a single distribution platform organized across six regions. Each of the six regions will focus on meeting its clients’ needs and investment preferences while taking local regulations and constraints into account. The regions include the US; the UK, the Netherlands, Nordic countries and Canada; western and southern Europe, including France; Central and Eastern Europe; Latin America and US Offshore; the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa; and Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan.

2. Partnerships
The department's remit will be to strengthen existing distribution partnerships and establish new ones with banking networks, insurers and other distributors worldwide, making Natixis IM’s offering accessible to a wider range of clients.

3. Product Range & Solutions
This department will define the product range strategy based on clients’ needs, developing solutions in areas such as retirement, long-term savings and wealth management, drawing on the offerings of Natixis IM’s affiliated investment management firms.

“By bringing our teams together in a new global organization, we combine in-depth knowledge of each market with the strength of a global player,” Chemouny said. “We will also make our offering available to more clients through new distribution partnerships and work with them to develop solutions tailored to their long-term needs. This transformation will give us the agility we need in volatile markets, foster synergies across regions and drive innovation in the service of our clients.”
