UBS, the world’s largest wealth manager, has launched new benchmark indices for development bank debt, giving investors better access to high-grade fixed income products. 

The launch marks a new phase in UBS’ partnership with World Bank, and is part of a drive to open up more sustainable investment opportunities, the Swiss firm said in a statement. 

The new benchmarks will allow investors to allocate more funds to highly-rated sustainable fixed income instruments than through traditional indices, which have lower development bank exposure, UBS said.
