What's New In Investments, Funds? - Capital Counsel

The latest in funds and investments in North America.

Capital Counsel, a New York City-based investment advisor overseeing about $1.6 billion of assets, has picked up an industry accolade for managers that beat its benchmark during rising markets and declined less than such a benchmark when they go south.

The Top Guns designation is issued by Informa Investment Solutions’ PSN manager database.

Capital Counsel’s Belle Meade Associates composite received the highest ranking in the Bull & Bear Masters category for US Equity Commingled Funds for the three-year period ending December 2018.

The prestigious Bull & Bear Masters top ranking is awarded to the investment manager that has outperformed its benchmark during periods of positive returns (Upside Market Capture) and declined less than the benchmark during periods of negative returns (Downside Market Capture.)

Capital Counsel’s Belle Meade Associates (BMA) Composite was also named a Top Gun in the 2- and 3-Star Categories, with the number of stars representing continued performance over time.

PSN Top Guns are industry rankings used by institutional asset managers and investors.

Capital Counsel was established in 1999 and is a registered investment advisor. It caters for high net worth individuals, family offices, endowments and foundations.
