What's New In Investments, Funds? - Artivest, LaSalle

The latest in funds and investments in North America.

LaSalle, Artivest

LaSalle Investment Management, which has partnered with Artivest, the alternative asset class investment platform, is pushing into the retail market for privately placed US real estate investment programs through a closed-end vehicle.

The investment firm said that it had identified Artivest as a good way to enter the retail market for alternatives. The Artivest Open Network is, LaSalle said, “transforming the way wealth managers and investors identify, access, and invest in institutional-grade alternative strategies, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, managed futures, and real assets”.

Artivest is privately held by its employees and outside investors, and is led by Genstar Capital, Aquiline Capital Partners, KKR and Thiel Capital. LaSalle manages about $64 billion of assets in private and public real estate property and debt investments as of the end of 2018.
