The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.

Vestmark, a wealth management software and services provider, is partnering with WestEnd Advisors, which focuses on actively managed model portfolios and separately managed accounts, to launch a tax-advantaged US Sector Strategy SMA.

The strategy seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation and mitigate risk by combining active, macroeconomically-driven sector allocation and avoidance with direct indexing of desired sector exposures.

Among recent partnerships, Vestmark – as reported here – in late October inked a distribution partnership with Capital Group, a $2.6 trillion AuM asset manager. In early May, it formed a partnership with Miami-headquartered Corient.

Vestmark said it supports six of the industry’s 10 largest managed account platforms, with $1.9 trillion in assets flowing through its platform. In July 2023 Vestmark unveiled what it calls VAST, an outsourced portfolio management service focused on personalization at scale. The offering is a direct indexing service. (The term “direct indexing” relates to an investment strategy that involves purchasing the components of an index directly, rather than through a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund.)
