Partners Capital has announced that it is closing its inaugural private equity environmental impact fund, Partners Capital 15 degrees Fund, with $143 million in client commitments. 

The fund has strong support from a variety of limited partners globally, including foundations, endowments, and family offices, the firm said in a statement this week. 

The private equity investment partnership will invest via specialist fund managers as well as direct co-investments in a diversified set of environmental sustainability sectors and themes, including renewable energy generation and storage, transportation and mobility, industrial processes and management, food and agriculture, smart buildings, water, waste, plastic and recycling.

As of March 31, 2022, Partners Capital oversaw about $6 billion in commitments to private equity; it commits about $1.5 billion each year to new opportunities.
