Marex Group, a Nasdaq-listed financial services platform, has launched a new private markets desk. The operation is based in London, a spokesperson told WealthBriefing when asked.

It is led by Jack Carnell, head of portfolio solutions for private markets, and Lloyd Beeston, head of dealing for private markets. The desk provides foreign exchange and interest rate solutions. The new private markets desk will expand Marex’s ability to enable private capital managers to effectively manage risk for global investment strategies, it said in a statement yesterday. 

The desk provides access to structured currency risk management and interest rate solutions. 

Carnell and Beeston both have 10 years of experience on institutional FX teams in private markets strategies.
