What's New In Investments, Funds? – CAIS, BNY Investments

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.

BNY
BNY Investments, part of BNY, has launched its Personal Bond Separately Managed Account. This is a retirement income solution which seeks to provide greater certainty, transparency, and flexibility than traditional income approaches.

The Personal Bond SMA seeks to broadly match bond coupons and maturities directly to a client’s spending needs, helping to turn a portfolio into a planned, usable income source. The solution is designed to meet growing client demand for personalized, reliable income without requiring investors to exit investments early or compromise long-term growth, BNY Investments said.

“The challenge is that advisors need to build income portfolios from scratch, while retirees want personalized income they can rely on. Advisors need to access the same depth of investment expertise long used by institutions in seeking to provide higher certainty of cashflows without, in our view, sacrificing flexibility,” Joe Schultz, global head of distribution for BNY Investments, said.

CAIS
CAIS, an alternative investment platform for wealth advisors, announced yesterday that it has expanded its capital markets offering to include structured investments, trade execution, portfolio hedging and managed strategies, integrated across the broader platform.

CAIS Capital Markets has also added access to new issue equity offerings and exchange-traded funds managed by third-party asset managers.

Activity in structured investments and portfolio hedging solutions rose by 93 per cent year over year in the first half of 2026, driven by advisor demand for defined-yield strategies, downside risk management and liquidity solutions for concentrated equity positions, CAIS said in a statement.
