Wells Fargo Re-Jigs Marketing Roles

Wells Fargo Advisors has named a new head of marketing, coming over from Abbot Downing.

The former marketing leader at Wells Fargo’s Abbot Downing business, JoAnn Neau, has joined Wells Fargo Advisors in that same role.

Abbot Downing confirmed to Family Wealth Report that the position JoAnn vacated is "still being evaluated," with a replacement due to be announced soon.

Neau will lead the team that provides strategic marketing counsel and support for Wells Fargo Advisors’ product and advice groups as well as the firm’s retail brokerage, bank-based, independent and WellsTrade™ business channels. She will also serve on the Wells Fargo Advisors’ operating committee.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Neau led the delivery of marketing and communications strategies for RBC Wealth Management's US business, and was also responsible for the global wealth management platform's digital channel strategy.

In her new role she will report to Marshall Butler, head of marketing for wealth and investment management at Wells Fargo. She replaces Chris Moloney, who left WFA about a year and a half ago, the firm confirmed.
