Wells Fargo Private Bank Appoints Regional Manager

Wells Fargo Private Bank has appointed Susan Traver as regional manager for Washington DC and suburban Maryland.

In her new role Ms Traver will oversee all the firm’s wealth management functions for the region, including private banking, credit, investment management, trust and estate services and brokerage services, Wells Fargo Private Bank said in a statement.

Ms Traver was most recently head of sales and marketing for Rockefeller & Co, prior to which she was a managing director at US Trust Corporation.

Wells Fargo Private Bank has made a number of senior hires in recent months, last month making additions to its teams in Atlanta and other regions.

In mid-October David Edmiston was named regional manager for the Greater Atlanta market, a role which entails responsibility for all wealth management functions for the region.

Mr Edmiston most recently led the Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, Florida, markets as regional director for Wachovia Wealth Management. Wachovia is now owed by Wells Fargo.

James Creamer, meanwhile, was appointed regional manager for the mid-South region in the US, having previously been a regional manager for the Wachovia Securities Investment Services Group. In his new Birmingham, Alabama-based role Mr Creamer oversees all Wells Fargo Private Bank’s wealth management functions across Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
