Wells Fargo Makes Senior Wealth Management Appointment

Wells Fargo’s wealth management group today named a former
Wachovia executive as managing director of investments for the Eastern region in the US, media reports said.

Robert Storey, a 15-year Wachovia veteran who will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina will manage investment specialists who help wealthy clients with their asset management needs. His western counterpart is
Erik Davidson, a Wells Fargo executive. They both report to
Dean Junkans, chief investment officer for the wealth management group.

Since buying Wachovia on 31 December last year, San Francisco-based
Wells Fargo is gradually fleshing out the leadership of the combined company. Wealth management is part of the combined wealth, brokerage and retirement services unit led by former Wachovia executive David Carroll.
