WeiserMazars Rebrands Wealth Advisory Arm

WeiserMazars, the US-based accounting and advisory firm, has rebranded its wealth advisory business to establish consistent branding across its platform.

Weiser Capital Management has been renamed WeiserMazars Wealth Advisors, but retains its current team and structure. The move is part of a branding overhaul following the merger of Weiser and Mazars Group in 2010. The tie-up gave the combined business a presence in 61 countries.

"Today's announcement reinforces our firm's continued commitment to providing all of our international business services under the WeiserMazars brand name," said Douglas Phillips, managing partner.

The strategy is supposed to highlight the firm’s global resources, through the inclusion of the “Mazars” name, as well as its emphasis on integrated wealth management, through “Wealth Advisors,” according to Lisa Osofsky, partner-in-charge of the private client services group at WeiserMazars.

WeiserMazars Wealth Advisors will operate from its New York City office, as well as regional hubs including Edison, NJ and Fort Washington, PA.
