Webster Bank Boosts Private Banking Team

Waterbury, CT-headquartered Webster Bank has appointed Chris Martin and Caryn Cosentini as senior vice presidents and senior private bankers in Western Connecticut and the Westchester County/ Metro New York areas respectively.

Martin launched Webster’s government and institutional banking group in 1997 and has served as a financial advisor and investment banker since 1982. Prior to joining Webster, he worked in similar capacities for Paine Webber, Bank Boston and Fleet Securities, the firm said.

Cosentini, with over 20 years of industry experience, has been building private banking relationships for more than 10 years. Previously, she served as managing director and private banker at Fieldpoint Private Bank and Trust in Greenwich, CT, and has also held similar positions at JP Morgan and Bank of America.

In July, the firm opened its first private banking facility in Greenwich, CT. Webster private bankers work in seven regional teams across four states, but this was the first branch - located at 85 Mason Street - to feature a private bank office.
