Wealth Sector Senior Figures Launch New York-Based RIA

Known as Collaborative Capital Advisors, the firm is pitching its services at UHNW individuals and families.
New York-headquartered Collaborative Capital Advisors has been launched as an RIA serving ultra-high net worth families, individuals, and entrepreneurs.
The firm said its clients include billionaire investor, Henry Swieca, co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management and founder of Talpion Fund Management, and John Brice, co-founder and chief investment officer of CarVal Investors (now AB CarVal).
Collaborative Capital Advisors was founded by co-CEOs Nathan Romano and Jonathan M Bergman, and chief operating officer Charles Friedberg.
Romano is the former president of Atalaya Capital Management and York Capital Management, respectively, and Goldman Sachs executive. Bergman is the former president of multi-family office TAG Associates; Friedberg is an investment management and fintech. Between them, the three founders have been responsible for more than $50 billion of alternative investments.
Supporters of the firm include:

"We are launching Collaborative Capital to capitalize on an attractive opportunity to offer white-glove wealth management services to ultra-high net worth individuals and families with diverse backgrounds, ranging from young tech-focused entrepreneurs to established entrepreneurial families focused on legacy planning," Romano said.
The firm said its target audience comprises individuals with $25 million to more than $1 billion in investible assets.
