Wealth Manager Cresset Creates “Chief Experience Officer” Role

The new C-suite role is designed to help ensure that clients' experiences of being served by the business are more positive.

Cresset, the US wealth management group, has appointed industry figure Dave Jackson as its first chief experience offer. Separately, it has named Michael Costabile as chief financial officer of Cresset Asset Management, a registered investment advisor.

Jackson’s role involves leading “Cresset’s efforts in helping to ensure positive experiences for clients”, the firm said. Before this, he was principal with Evanston Advisors, a multi-family-office wealth management firm that Cresset acquired earlier this year

Costabile, meanwhile, recently served as CFO of Moneta Group, the RIA with more than $20 billion in assets under management, one of the largest in the country.

Cresset has grown rapidly over the past couple of years, and is now one of the larger US players in the area of Qualified Opportunity Zone investment, as it argued in a recent interview.

Family Wealth Report also has interviewed Cresset Asset Management CEO Michael Cole about issues such as independence, business models and private capital market investments.
