Washington Wealth Management Hires Former Merrill Man

Investment advisor Washington Wealth Management (WWM) has snapped up former Merrill Lynch broker Matthew Griffith.

Investment advisor Washington Wealth Management (WWM) has snapped up former Merrill Lynch broker Matthew Griffith.

Griffith will run his own business - 1626 Wealth Management - out of WWM’s San Diego offices and brings with him $75 million in client assets.

San Diego, CA-based WWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the independent broker-dealer NFP Advisor Services. It was established by wirehouse veterans and enables advisors with a wirehouse background to achieve independence and build equity in their own businesses.

Last month WWM added former wirehouse advisors Morrie Symson and David Mizrahi - with a combined $150 million in assets under management - to its platform in Woodland Hills, CA.

WWM has offices in San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County, CA; Westport, CT, and Middleburg, VA.
