Australian accountant WHK has appointed
Mercer and Macquarie Private Wealth to provide research and execution support, and has named a new head of research, according to Australian daily Financial Standard.  

As a result of an extensive market review,
WHK appointed Mercer to provide investment research support and Macquarie
Private Wealth to provide share execution services as the firm seeks to increase
its research capability, said the report.

"The investment consulting offered by
Mercer and share execution capabilities offered by Macquarie Private Wealth was
found to be an excellent fit for WHK and is consistent with our focus on
finding 'best of breed' suppliers to assist us," said John Cowan, WHK's
head of financial services.

Separately, WHK's research manager Jeremy McPhail, has been internally promoted to head of research.
