Coastal Community Credit Union has teamed up with wealth management partner Credential Financial to launch a wealth management advisory firm, Private Wealth Group.

The two firms said in a statement that the new offering will be Canada's first integrated private wealth service offered by a credit union.

Based on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, Coastal Community Credit Union has a long-standing partnership with Credential Financial, which provides financial products and services to some 225 organizations and 1,300 advisors.

Coastal Community Credit Union is one of British Columbia’s largest credit unions, with 21 branches, 15 insurance locations and three business service centers.
