Union Bancaire Privée has appointed Philippe Broadhead as UK head of sales in its asset management division.

Broadhead was most recently at Legal & General Investment Management, where he spent eight years in senior positions including head of UK institutional distribution, head of hedge fund distribution and head of multi-manager investments. He has also worked in business development roles at Friends Ivory & Sime and Friends Provident.

In other recent news, earlier this month UBP appointed Yves Stein as head of its banking activities in Luxembourg, as part of its European Union strategy and Luxembourg development plans. Before joining UBP, Stein was chief executive at BNP Paribas in Switzerland in charge of wealth management.
