US Wealth Manager Expands Florida Presence

The pandemic and other forces - such as tax - are encouraging an influx of people and businesses to Florida, the firm said.

New Jersey-based Round Table Wealth Management, has expanded its Florida office in Boca Raton, arguing that an influx of people into the state is an important business opportunity.

The firm is hiring two team members: Marianne Rodriquez CFP® and Anthony Rosetti CFA as RTWM directors.

“With the expansion of RTWM, the firm's new office in the region will be a platform that will allow advisors to offer greater and more tailored services to the Southeast Florida Market,” the group said.

"The pandemic is reshaping our economy, and many more individuals are working remotely and relocating. The low tax rate in Florida is also attractive to those in the financial and tech industries looking to grow their business during this time,” Steven Giacona, founder and chief executive of RTWM, said. “Given the current environment, we are seeing a continued exodus of individuals leaving the New York tri-state area to Florida. The expansion of our new office allows us to maintain close relationships with clients who have moved as well as expand new relationships to develop a significant presence within the state."

Founded in 1999, the firm oversaw $1.1 billion of assets under management as at the end of 2019. It has offices in New York City, Westfield, New Jersey, Boca Raton, Florida, and Bend, Oregon.
