US Wealth Management House Takes Estate Planning In-House
The firm is taking estate planning into its business and boosting its family office capabilities, it said.
Nepsis, a US financial advisor and investment management firm, has appointed Malia Haskins as its inaugural vice president of estate planning.
The firm, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, serves high net worth and ultra-HNW clients.
Haskins brings estate planning expertise in-house, and also widens Nepsis's family office framework.
“Malia’s extensive experience makes her ideal to lead this new service within our family office framework,” Bryan Eberle, president of Nepsis® Tax Solutions, said.
With more than three decades’ wealth sector experience, most of Haskins’ career in wealth management was spent with RBC Wealth Management. Haskins also served as director and private wealth advisor at BMO Private Bank, and as senior trust officer with Wells Fargo Private Client Group. She earned a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
In the past year, Nepsis has acquired full-service accounting firm Sevenich, Butler, Gerlach & Brazil and appointed vice presidents Jack Cahill and Chad Koebnick to introduce specialized tax offerings. The business was founded in 1994 by its chief executive, Mark Pearson.
