The new promotions have been made across the US.

Cumberland Trust, a Nashville-based independent trust firm, has promoted seven employees to the role of senior vice president.

Jaclyn Berry, Caroline Bradshaw, Christopher Buckley, Debbie Butler and Lori Thoeny will become senior vice presidents and will assume their previous role of trust officers, and Rebecca Halvorson and Fontaine Lee will become senior vice presidents and business development officers in Memphis and Atlanta, respectively, the firm said in a statement.

Berry joined the firm as a trust office in 2006. She manages relationships and has administered trusts, where she focuses on clients with special needs and those with special care concerns. Her focus is on client relationships and account administration, especially special care and senior care services. Thoeny joined Cumberland Trust in 2008 after working for more than fifteen years in the brokerage industry.

Halvorson joined Cumberland Trust in 2010. She is responsible for building relationships in Memphis, working with families and advisors to deliver a full range of trust services while also managing Cumberland Trust’s regional offices. Lee joined Cumberland Trust in 2010.

“Cumberland Trust is a leader in the trust industry because of our people,” said Joseph Presley, chairman, president and chief executive. “This group of individuals have dedicated themselves to their crafts to ensure they can best serve their clients, no matter the need. They have been integral to the growth of Cumberland Trust and to the evolution of our offices. They will continue to solidify our firm as a premier trust services advisor and partner in their new senior roles.”
