US RIA United Capital Hires 23-Strong Team - Its Largest Addition To-Date
The addition of this team is a continuation of United Capital’s strategy to expand by both recruiting as well as acquiring advisors across the US.
United Capital Financial Advisers has recruited a 23-person team with locations in Denver and Arizona from Capital Investment Counsel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Compass Bank.
The move marks the opening of United Capital’s 58th and 59th offices.
While at CIC, the team managed over $2 billion in assets under management across 1,600 relationships, with an average household having around $1.3 million in investable assets.
It is led by four former CIC principals: Stephen Dreiling, Jason Rosener, Chris Johnson and Brian McDowell, who now serve as managing directors at United Capital.
Meanwhile, another eight former CIC employees will join as wealth advisors, nine will serve in operations roles and three will continue their investment management duties. Each new hire is being compensated via cash and/or equity in United Capital.
