US multi-family office Asset Management Advisors is changing its name to GenSpring Family Office.

Chief executive Maria Elena Lagomasino said: "The Asset Management Advisors name was simply too limiting and reflected only one facet of what we do for our families. Sustaining family wealth is at the heart of everything our company does."

GenSpring is an affiliate of SunTrust Banks headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida. It has over $12 billion in assets under advisement for more than 420 families.
