US Financial Management Firm Shakes Up Leadership Team

The Boston-based firm has made an array of changes to its leadership team.

US-based TFC Financial Management has shuffled its leadership team: Renee Kwok is now chief executive; Daniel Kern is chief investment officer; and James Joslin remains as chairman.

Kwok joined TFC in 1991 and became the firm’s president in 2005. She has taken over from Joslin as CEO. She began her financial services career as an investment analyst with Asian Oceanic Limited, a Hong Kong-based merchant bank.

Kern joined TFC in 2015 as chief investment strategist and has also become a shareholder. Prior to joining TFC, Kern was the head of asset allocation for Charles Schwab Investment Management, where he managed approximately $3.5 billion of assets.
