US Capital Advisors Nabs Another Team From Wells Fargo

The Texas-based financial services boutique has added a new wealth management team.
Wells Fargo Advisors' Charles Dix, Clayton Fisher and Denise Clifton, together known as the Dix-Fisher Financial Consulting Group, have joined US Capital Advisors.
The trio, who will be based in USCA's Dallas, Texas office, join just weeks after former Wells Fargo team John Dix (Charles's brother) and Karee Sampson joined as the Dix Sampson Consulting Group last month.
The new team will report to Ford McTee, USCA's senior managing director in charge of Austin markets.
Charles Dix will continue to manage his wealth management clients, while also serving as Dallas market manager. He replaces Steve Head, who now heads up corporate business development, covering all three of the firm's segments – wealth management, capital markets and asset management. Dix has over 30 years' industry experience, having formerly worked at Dean Witter, Morgan Stanley and Wachovia Securities.
Fisher, who has over 10 years' experience, joined Dix at Wachovia Securities. Clifton then joined the Dix-Fisher Financial Consulting Group at Wachovia Securities in 2010.
“Charles and his team understand that our firm and platform are designed to truly allow advisors to make decisions that are in their clients' best interest. Long-tenured advisors and managers, like Charles and his brother John Dix, who recently joined USCA, have experienced the "push" of products and services in large firms. Here we operate on a platform where the clients and advisors "pull" the resources."
Also joining the team are financial advisor Megan Price and senior client service associate Eileen Stella. US Capital Advisors also has offices in Houston and Austin, Texas.
