US Bank Appoints Senior Trio

The new hires include a new CSO and two new managing directors.

New York- and Florida-headquartered bank National Holdings Corporation has appointed Donald Runkle as executive vice president and chief supervisory officer of National Securities Corporation and National Asset Management.

The bank also appointed Robert Bowman as managing director and national sales manager, and Thomas Kowalczyk as managing director of investment solutions of National Securities Corporation and National Asset Management, the firm said in a statement.

Previously, Runkle was the director of consulting services with Freeman Mathis & Gary, and the regulatory compliance director for Coordinated Capital Securities.

Bowman was previously partner and managing director of Snowden Lane Partners. Kowalczyk was with several independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisory (RIA) firms in senior management roles, and most recently, he was a senior vice president of advisory services for a privately held Texas company.

“Our management team’s hard work this past year has begun to be recognized in the industry," said Michael Mullen, chief executive. "This is evidenced by the caliber of leadership and experience in the new additions to our team. Each new member brings a unique skill set that we believe will be highly impactful to the continued success of our firm. I look forward to closely working with each of them as we continue to grow and build the National brand into a leader in the industry.”
