US Asset Manager Hires New York-Based Senior Investment Advisor

Wilmington Trust has offices throughout the US and internationally in London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Luxembourg and Frankfurt.

Wilmington Trust, a US-based asset manager and financial services firm, has appointed Robert Bridges as a senior investment advisor within its New York wealth advisory office.

Bridges has nearly 30 years' experience in asset management, the firm said in a statement. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was a senior portfolio manager at First Republic Bank. Earlier in his career, he spent a 16-year stint with Fiduciary Trust Company International as a portfolio manager, in addition to holding similar roles for high net worth clients at both US Trust and the Bank of New York.

In his new role, he works with high net worth individuals, families and business owners, as well as foundations and endowments throughout New York to develop customized investment portfolios based on clients' financial objectives.

“With Rob’s three decades of experience in investment management, we’re delighted to have him join our team,” said Sharon Klein, president of Wilmington Trust’s New York Metropolitan region, adding: “In any economic environment, it’s tremendously valuable for individuals and families to work with experienced investment advisors like Rob.”
