UK Investment Firm Expands Carlisle Office

The new hire is part of the firm's plans to expand its operations in the North of England and Scotland.
Investment firm Hargreave Hale has appointed Andrew Wood as an investment manager within its Carlisle office.
Wood will focus on serving clients across the Cumbria region and the Scottish borders, Hargreave Hale said in a statement yesterday.
He joins the firm from Brewin Dolphin, where he spent 19 years serving clients from the Dumfries and Galloway area.
The new investment manager will work alongside the head of the Carlisle office, Hazel Larkin, who succeeded Marilyn Salkeld last year following her retirement.
“Andrew is a welcomed addition to the team who will help take us forward as we aim to extend the reach of our investment proposition on both sides of the English-Scottish border,” said Larkin. “His skill set and industry experience will be of considerable value to our business and his appointment will help us enhance the level of service we provide to our clients."
