The UK fund manager has now expanded its UK and Europe sales team to 18 members.

UK specialist fund manager Liontrust has expanded its sales team with two new hires to its operations across the UK.

Andrew Taylor will cover sales for the North of England and Scotland after joining the firm from Neptune Investment Management. Mark Wright will cover sales for the Midlands after joining from Jupiter Asset Management. Both will report to Ian Chimes, head of global distribution, the firm said in a statement yesterday.

These appointments now extend Liontrust’s UK and Europe sales team to 18 members.

“I have worked with both Andrew and Mark before so I know how good their investment knowledge and relationships are and they will fit in really well with the rest of the sales team,” said Chimes. “They will enable us to expand still further our distribution reach and levels of client service in the North of England, Scotland and the Midlands. At Liontrust, they will have a strong range of funds and portfolios and seven impressive fund management teams to talk to their clients about."
