UK's Invesco Perpetual Forms Multi-Asset Team With Ex-Standard Life Managers

UK-based Invesco Perpetual said yesterday that it has
appointed former Standard Life Investments managers David Millar, Dave Jubb and
Richard Batty to form a new multi-asset group, as demand grows for such
investments due to regulatory and other pressures.

The group is designed to build on Invesco’s existing global
multi-asset capability, the firm said in a statement.

“These key appointments underpin our intention to build a
leading multi-asset capability within our investment centre in Henley,” said Nick Mustoe, chief investment officer
at Invesco Perpetual.

Consumer demand and regulatory pressures on advisors are driving multi-asset investments, said Ian Trevers, head of distribution at Invesco
Perpetual.

The new team will enable the firm to develop funds to
complement the recently launched Invesco Perpetual Diversified Balanced Risk
Investment Series ICVC managed by Invesco in Atlanta
in the US,
he added.
