Sustainability was the name of the game at a recent "collegium" event held by the organization.

The UHNW Institute, a US-headquartered think tank and group driving thought leadership for advisors to wealthy families, has introduced the theme of sustainability into one of its Collegium programs. (See details of this Collegium here.)

The Collegium VII brought together senior operating executives and opinion-formers at firms catering to UHNW clients. The Collegium facilitator was Jamie McLaughlin (pictured below), CEO J H McLaughlin & Co, and on the board of directors at the Institute.

Those taking part discussed how firms can fit their structures with long-range goals, review business models and protect client relationships while embracing new ways of thinking. 

The programs are held twice a year, with one in the spring, open to all UHNW Institute members, and one in the fall, by invitation-only.
