UBS Announces New Multi-Year Global Arts Show Partnership
Art Basel, one of the world’s major arts events, has
announced a new global partnership with UBS, which acts as lead
partner for shows
in Basel, Miami Beach
and Hong Kong.
The multi-year agreement begins from today, and the
announcement coincides with the 20th anniversary of
both
organisations’ partnership.
Beginning in 2014,
UBS will become the lead partner of Art
Basel in Hong Kong which takes place from 15-18 May at the Hong
Kong Convention
and Exhibition Center.
“UBS' support of Art Basel is part of a comprehensive
commitment to contemporary art on a global scale including the
Guggenheim UBS
MAP Global Art Initiative, the UBS Art Collection and the UBS Art
Competence Center,
the Fondation Beyeler and numerous other regional art
partnerships,” UBS said
in a statement.
UBS has been lead partner for the events since 1994.
