The wealth management group has added to its private wealth management teams in two different markets.
UBS has made a number of financial advisor hires in Los Angeles and the South, it said yesterday.
The firm said that financial advisors Pasha Azad, Dayne Crist, Steven Summerhays and Koby Dardashti have joined the firm’s Los Angeles private wealth management office as Lumina Wealth Partners at UBS. The team, which has joined from Bernstein Private Wealth Management, is supported by four client service professionals.
Separately, UBS unveiled leadership appointments in its South wealth management market, which covers Georgia, Tennessee and Arkansas. John Houlihan has been named market executive for the South Market; he is responsible for overseeing the market’s private wealth management and wealth management businesses. Houlihan, who is based in Atlanta, previously served as market director for the firm’s Northeast region.
Ian Roth, who is based in Atlanta, has joined UBS as senior market director, reporting to Houlihan.

at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, the bank said.
The office brings together more than 225 employees across UBS

Bank, including municipal traders and more than 20
consultants.
Azad, who is managing director and private wealth advisor, brings more than 15 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, founders, artists, entertainers and multigenerational families.

The South market is part of the firm’s Southeast Region, which is
led by regional director Julie Fox.

Prior to joining UBS, he served as a regional director at Barclays based in Atlanta. He began his career in financial services in 1993 as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.
Roth previously spent more than seven years at Goldman Sachs in Atlanta, where he managed the firm’s Southeast private wealth business.
