William Blackford has joined Janney in Spartanburg along with his private client assistant, Dena Wofford.

Philadelphia, PA-headquartered Janney Montgomery Scott, a financial services firm with a wealth management arm, has appointed William Blackford as a senior vice president of wealth management in Spartanburg, SC.

Blackford joins Janney from Morgan Stanley, where he has worked as a financial advisor for over 34 years. Dena Wofford, also previously of Morgan Stanley, will support Blackford as his registered private client assistant.

Last week, Janney opened a new office in Naples, FL, adding three advisors from RBC.
