Two Key Appointments At State Street Global Advisors

State Street Global Advisors, the investment management business of Boston-headquartered State Street Corporation, has made two internal appointments to its fixed income and equity investment teams.

Kevin Anderson, previously SSgA’s global head of fixed income beta solutions, has been named as the new global chief investment officer for fixed income and currency, effective immediately. Anderson, who is based in London, succeeds Mark Marinella who has resigned from SSgA to pursue other opportunities.

Marc Reinganum, who joined SSgA in December 2009 from Oppenheimer Funds as head of international active developed markets equities, will expand his responsibilities to include the US active equity team and the Canada developed markets team. In this new role he will work to ensure that SSgA’s active quantitative equity approach is applied consistently in all equity products for developed markets managed globally, the firm said in a statement.
