Two Financial Advisors Join Merrill Lynch In Big Apple

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management is looking to expand its Rockefeller Centre office with new hires.
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has hired two financial advisors to join its Rockefeller Centre office in New York.
Will Sahlman and Greg Jones will join Merrill Lynch and will form the Sahlman Jones Group, the firm said in a statement.
Both Sahlman and Jones join the firm from Morgan Stanley, where they oversaw $300 million in assets. They have worked together for nearly 15 years.
Sahlman has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked at the now-defunct Lehman Brothers.
Jones spent eight years at Morgan Stanley. Before Morgan Stanley, he also worked at Lehman Brothers.
Tom Stack, client associate, will also join the Sahlman Jones Group.
“The Sahlman Jones Group is dedicated to providing exceptional service built on long-term relationships with clients and personalized financial planning strategies,” said Michael Simonds, market executive. “This team will be a great addition to Merrill Lynch and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Rockefeller Center office."
Jones is not the first Morgan Stanley employee to join Merrill Lynch recently, as this publication reported the firm had brought over Thomas Reichert, Paul Lotito, Eric Aiello, and Lindsay Reichert to its Paramus, New Jersey office.
