Tullett Prebon Expands Americas Executive Committee

Tullett Prebon, the London-listed broker, has promoted two members of staff and expanded the roles of a number of senior staff, as it boosts its Americas executive committee with five new members.
Neil Tullett, Richard Higgs, Tom Bovitz, Craig Sutter and Henry Ann have been added to the Americas executive committee. The following changes have also been made to their roles:
Tullett was appointed senior managing director responsible for the treasury products division. Tullet, who has been based in Asia since 2007 and headed up the Hong Kong office and the Australian business before that, will relocate to New York.
The role of Higgs, a senior managing director, has been expanded to include Tullett Prebon’s emerging markets business in North America and onshore South America.
Bovitz, previously the manager of the equity derivatives desk, has been made a senior managing director, responsible for the cash equities and equity derivatives division.
Sutter, a senior managing director, is charged with running the rates division in North America, as well as the volatility business excluding equities.
Ann, a senior managing director, will run the firm’s office in Toronto, Canada, and also assumes responsibility for the mortgages business.
On the executive committee they join Andrew Polydor, Mike Giordano, Shawn Bernardo, Christian Pezeu and Stephen Goulet. The committee is chaired by Marcus Bolton, chief executive officer of the Americas.
With these additions the committee includes all eight heads of the firm's American business lines, as well as the regional heads of the finance department and the company's general counsel in the Americas.
Additionally, Jimmy Shand has been appointed as a managing director and will be responsible for US treasuries and agencies, reporting to Sutter.
“The new management team that we have announced today will provide the foundation we need to continue to grow our business throughout the Americas, and to further capitalize on the good start the business has made to 2010,” said Bolton.
